When a magical pocket watch turns, time doesn’t change, but instead, it opens. Guests step through its windows into the vibrant worlds of the 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.

The park brings the past to life, letting guests explore the 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s through fully immersive environments. Each decade is carefully designed around the people, culture, and events that defined it, with attractions, shows, and dining experiences that make history feel tangible and alive. Visitors do not just look back, they walk through it, play in it, and experience the spirit of each era firsthand.

Some Process Work

I started by researching each decade to understand what made it recognizable and fun. I looked at major events, fashion, movies, and pop culture, using photos and retro designs to establish the visual direction. From there, I explored ways to connect the decades, which led to the idea of a magical pocket watch that lets guests step into different eras.

After mapping out the park with bubble maps and rough sketches, I created a fully rendered map of Rewind Kingdom with callouts for all guest amenities. I then focused on developing the 1960s land, pulling from surf culture, the space race, and mid-century modern design to build a strong sense of place.

To define the atmosphere, I created two pieces of concept art. One illustrated the Moon Landing restaurant with retro-futuristic shapes and chrome details. The other visualized the psychedelic teacups ride with bold colors and dynamic movement connected to the era. These pieces helped bring the land to life and show how all the elements work together.
